PIIO-1 augments CD8+ T cells-induced anti-tumor immunity and overcomes ICB resistance by disrupting transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β), the center of a pathway significantly implicated in solid tumors and hematological malignancies. PIIO-1 inhibits TGFβ locally via a docking receptor, avoiding adverse and unforeseen side effects.
