There remains a clear need for a cost-effective, easy-to-deploy system that delivers continuous, real-time pace guidance across a range of swimming environments and athlete skill levels. The TechnologyOSU engineers have developed a lane line–mounted device that travels along a pool lane while providing a moving visual pacing reference for swimmers. The system attaches directly to standard lane lines and traverses the length of the pool at a programmed speed, projecting a visible cue that swimmers can follow to maintain a desired pace.
