Broadband Sliding-Mode Outphasing Power Amplifier with High Efficiency
TS-063155 — With the rapid growth in modern communication, transmitter systems must use a wider fraction of the spectrum, to support the continuously increasing data rate. In addition, signals with large peak-to-average power ratio (PAPR) are used in communication systems to increase the spectral efficiency. …

Utilization of Inductors in Electronics Circuits as Magnetohydrodynamics Pumps for Liquid Metal based Cooling
TS-062498 — Novel integrated inductor-based magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) pumps containing liquid metal coolant significantly enhance the thermal management of large-scale, complex electronic systems housed in confined spaces
Conventional thermal management methods such as air-cooling and liquid cooling methods commonly used for electronics present in laptops, desktop computers, and smaller electronic configurations show limitations when scaled up for complex electronics architectures. High-power and high-voltage elect…

Utilization of Interconnections in Electronic Circuits as Magnetohydrodynamic Pumps for Liquid Metalbased Cooling
TS-062494 — A novel magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) pump-based thermal management system design where integration of the cooling apparatus using electronic circuit interconnections achieves improved thermal management at a lower cost.
Newer applications incorporating high-power electronics designs face greater thermal management challenges and impact systemic stability and reliability. Enhanced cooling techniques in these complex electronic systems rely on liquid cooling instead of air cooling. However, liquid cooling approache…

"Flexible biomarker biofluid cell array for 2D/3D mapping of biomarker concentration levels"
TS-062483 — Measurement/detection of analytes (e.g., biomarkers) in different environments (e.g., biofluids/organs) is typically performed using a biosensor. Available bio-integrated sensors do not provide the capability to map biomarker concentrations, require a power source to function, use a limited number of electrodes, and normally can only measure a specific type of biofluid but not others. The use of glutamate mapping technology (radioactive or fluorescent ligand bound to a glutamate receptor) has been evaluated and found to require bulky/expensive medical equipment, a power source for measurement, cannot be miniaturized or integrated into a bio tissue, and require patients to be stationary during measurement.
The Need To address concerns and limitations with current biomarker detection/ measurement technologies, an alternative, cost-effective, efficient biosensing system/device capable of 2D/3D mapping the concentrations of various biomarkers in different bio environments is required. The Technology …
