Modular Unit for Liquid Fuel Production from Natural Gas
TS-070633 — The Need Stranded natural gas (SNG), a by-product of crude oil extraction, is often flared due to the high cost and logistical challenges of pipeline transport. Approximately 15 tons/day of SNG is flared from one oil well. This results in significant greenhouse gas emissions and wasted energy. With …

Novel Operational Strategies for Fixed-Bed Redox Chemical Looping Systems
TS-070630 — The Need Fixed bed chemical looping systems offer operational simplicity and minimal attrition compared to moving bed systems, but they suffer from transient behaviors like feed breakthrough, uneven solid conversion, and coking. These issues compromise efficiency, scalability, and product consistenc…

Fixed-Bed Redox Chemical Looping for Clean Energy Syngas and Hydrogen
TS-070629 — The Need Current industrial processes for hydrogen and syngas production—such as steam methane reforming and autothermal reforming—are energy-intensive, prone to catalyst coking, and economically viable only at large scales. These methods also struggle with CO₂ emissions and integratio…

"Flexible biomarker biofluid cell array for 2D/3D mapping of biomarker concentration levels"
TS-062483 — Measurement/detection of analytes (e.g., biomarkers) in different environments (e.g., biofluids/organs) is typically performed using a biosensor. Available bio-integrated sensors do not provide the capability to map biomarker concentrations, require a power source to function, use a limited number of electrodes, and normally can only measure a specific type of biofluid but not others. The use of glutamate mapping technology (radioactive or fluorescent ligand bound to a glutamate receptor) has been evaluated and found to require bulky/expensive medical equipment, a power source for measurement, cannot be miniaturized or integrated into a bio tissue, and require patients to be stationary during measurement.
The Need To address concerns and limitations with current biomarker detection/ measurement technologies, an alternative, cost-effective, efficient biosensing system/device capable of 2D/3D mapping the concentrations of various biomarkers in different bio environments is required. The Technology …

Iron Oxide Composites with Low Concentration of Aliovalent Dopants As Oxygen Carrier Materials for Sustainable Redox Combustion and Gasification Reactions in Chemical Looping Reactor Systems
TS-038513 — Addition of low concentration aliovalent transition metal dopants substantially improves particle performance in chemical loopiong systems
Cyclic systems are required for energy conversion systems. In the clean energy industry, chemical looping offers promise for carbon dioxide capture from fossil energy. Transition metal oxides such as iron oxide, nickel oxide, and copper oxide have been singled out as the desired active oxygen carr…
